In the Netherlands, there are two service stations from which technicians work. The onshore team works from the service station in Kruiningen and the offshore team from service station IJmuiden. 
The service teams have now grown so much that there is a position for a technical team leader for both teams. The position is for a technical team leader who on an operational level is responsible for the offshore service team. You are the first point of contact for the technicians in your team. 

As technical team leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Operational leadership of offshore service teams.
• Coaching, motivating and guiding the people in your team.
• Performance management and adequate monitoring of employee performance.
• Hire, induct and coach team members to produce their best work, set annual targets and achieve growth objectives.
• Optimize staff planning and resources in collaboration with the Dispatch department
• Oversee the execution of all Service-related activities.
• Promote internal and external cooperation and customer orientation.
• In collaboration with the Operations Manager manage cost and performance indicators and Initiate cost-out initiative.
• In collaboration with the Project Manager(s) actively monitoring contractual availability.
• In cooperation with the Technical Field Support department, initiate and manage improvement proposals related to contractual availability.
• Taking ownership and implement improvement plans and processes.
• Initiate and schedule trainings, safety and technical with the support of the training department 
• Administrative task as, approval of working hours, declarations, control of safety certificates.
• Organize regular safety or kick-off meetings.
• Perform safety inspections and willing to go offshore to support the Project Team.

Job requirements

• You have a relevant technical education and several years of experience with maintenance wind turbines.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical team lead role.
• You have integrity and know how to coach and guide the people in your team in a positive way to get the most out of your team.
• You are analytical and commercial and have a result-oriented mentality.
• You oversee the progress, effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of the activities carried out.
• Proven skills and experience of the MS office package.
• Proficient in Dutch and English in word and writing.
• Driver’s license B.
