Oceanwide is selected to provide Troubleshooters and Service Technicians for Vattenfall's Hollandse Kust Zuid (HKZ) wind farm. In the HKZ wind farm will rise 140 offshore wind turbines which will provide renewable energy for up to 2.000.000 households. We, as Oceanwide, provide the permanent roles for troubleshooters and later for service technicians.

Oceanwide already started the search for the first teams, which will begin in January 2022. Therefore we are looking for professionals who live approximately 50 kilometres from Vattenfall's O&M base in IJmuiden. As a troubleshooter or service technician you get the unique opportunity to work offshore and be at home every evening. Furthermore, you will work on a seven days on – seven days off schedule.

Hollandse Kust Zuid – First project of its kind
The Dutch government stated that striving for a CO2 reduction conform the Paris climate agreement, a 4.5GW suppliance in wind energy will be needed by the end of 2023. HKZ will supply 1,5GW to the Netherlands. The park will consist of 140 11MW turbines with a tip height of 250 meters, making HKZ unique and one of its kind.
The site is situated 18 kilometres off the Dutch coast, in between The Haque and Zandvoort. The weather conditions at this location will be ideal for generating renewable energy all year round. Furthermore, the distance, limited depth, and right seabed resulted in the bid by Vattenfall to construct its offshore wind farm over here.
