Large project for Oceanwide Mexico

Oceanwide Vlissingen, an international provider of diversified manpower services,  manages her largest project ever. In the Gulf of Mexico more than four hundred employees have been working for Oceanwide since the end of last year to install the huge oil platform Abaktun-A2.

One of Oceanwides customers built a new oil platform in Mexico. This is the largest platform of recent times in the Gulf of Mexico. After the project was completed, hundreds of employees were left empty-handed. Oceanwide has employed these people for the installation of the platform. In addition, extra staff is recruited for specialist work.

Oceanwide has been recruiting staff for business relations in the Gulf of Mexico for decades. Four years ago, a strategic decision was made, in addition to recruiting to hire staff as well. As a result, Oceanwide has a better grip on quality and the services can be set up much wider. Although the oil market was not good four years ago, the strategic decision for this approach now works out well.

In addition to the recruitment and logistics to get the people from the inland on board, Oceanwide handles all the administration, the crew changes, and the payment of the personnel.

Oceanwide is an international player in the field of maritime services. With offices and agents around the world, Oceanwide is able to deliver the right qualified staff quickly. Oceanwide is seen as one of the international providers of maritime personnel with the focus mainly on the maritime sector, the offshore industry and the (wind) energy sector.
