Oceanwide Expeditions is specialized in small scale expedition cruises to the otherworldly polar regions. With a fleet of ice-strengthened vessels we offer our passengers unique expeditions to the Antarctic and the Arctic.

Due to the expansion of our fleet we are searching for Electricians or ETO's who aspire to a career in these special sailing areas.

As Electrician you manage the operation and maintenance of electrical plants and electronic equipment. You also assist the watch-keeping Engineer when required. You report to the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer.

Functie-eisen

• Certificate of Competency Electro Technical Rating III/7 or higher required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as ship Electrician, preferably on vessels with conventional engine types. Experience on passenger vessels is an advantage.
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Hands-on mentality
