Job description

Our client is a cutting-edge company that specializes in crafting, producing, fitting, and servicing thermal heating systems for vessels. Their offerings are highly regarded on a global scale and stand out for their exceptional robustness, dependability, and effectiveness. As a PLC Programmer, you will work within the team that creates and develops heating system software.

Responsibilities:
  • Design the io interface of the PLC
  • Checking the electrical drawings
  • Making functional descriptions of the function/system controlled by the PLC
  • Creating various documents e.g. Modbus list. Alarm list etc
  • Within the team discuss and create/adapt the standard function blocks. 
  • Making software for heating plants and other related products
  • Testing the software and performing or assisting with the factory acceptance test
  • Troubleshoot running systems from the office
  • Rarely go to the vessel to adapt the software to the vessel's needs

Job requirements

  • Siemens S7 Tia portal V17 professional or other
  • Siemens S7 safety V17
  • Siemens LOGO 
  • We also program other items like e a schneider plc for stand alone Modbus units
