May 17 marked the 2nd edition of the OEX sports event, Battle of the Ships 2025! After last year's great success, the crew was extra motivated to compete against each other, with the goal of not only winning the Cup, but most importantly having a great time together. And they succeeded!
The sun was shining brightly and the beautiful sports field of Mission to Seafarers in Flushing provided the perfect setting for a day of sports, fun and team building. The atmosphere was fantastic, and everyone was ready to give their best performance - whether on the basketball court, as a cheerleader, during a fanatical volleyball match or even on the soccer field.
The active day ended with a delicious BBQ provided by Oceanwide Catering and Den Helder Ship Stores. It was the perfect time to end the day in style and look back on all the fun, sometimes hilarious, moments.
After a successful edition of the Battle of the Ships, we can't wait for the third edition of this great event. What will be on the program then? That will remain a surprise, but one thing is certain: it will be another sporty, fun and unforgettable day!
