Plan and execute commissioning activities for custom-built yachts, refits and fleet support, ensuring all systems and installations are tested, validated, and ready for delivery
Work closely with internal teams, co-makers, and the owner’s representatives to ensure a safe, compliant and high-quality commissioning process in line with international standards and project objectives
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute commissioning activities, including inspections, testing, calibration, and sea trials, ensuring all yacht systems are safe, compliant, and ready for operation
Verify systems against specifications, approve or reject installations, and drive resolution of technical issues and punch list items
Coordinate commissioning activities, align with internal teams and co-makers, and ensure availability of required resources to meet project timelines
Act as technical interface towards owner’s representatives, co-makers and authorities, maintaining alignment on progress, issues, and solutions
Provide clear reporting on progress and deviations, document commissioning activities, and support decision-making on system approvals

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
Proven extensive professional experience and strong understanding of commissioning and testing of complex multidisciplinary technical yacht systems
Proven experience with project-based work and coordination of multiple stakeholders/subcontractors/co-makers
Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with technical reporting tools
Competences: problem solving, result orientation, persuasiveness, proactivity, quality-focused
