Do you have the necessary work experience when it comes to electricity and do you literally get energy from solving complex problems? Then you are the troubleshooter we are looking for.
As a Troubleshooter you will be part of a dedicated service team consisting of over 30 professionals, delivering general troubleshooting operations and daily maintenance to our HKZ windfarm (existing of 140 offshore wind turbines). Your duties and responsibilities as Troubleshooter include:
Fault diagnosis and trend analysis;
Excellent service delivery;
Teaching and assessing technicians on the job;
Providing safety and technical reports and maintain documentation.
It concerns a unique rotation of 7/7. Which means that you work on a 7 days on and 7 days off schedule. Your daily shifts will ben 12-hour (including sailing time), so effectively 8 hours of work. Too good to be true? The only catch is that you have to live a 45-minute drive from IJmuiden.
This role requires someone with multiple years of experience working as a technician, ideally within the wind industry and having a background and broad understanding of Electrical Engineering.
Have a completed mbo 3 or 4 diploma in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, installation technology or another relevant technical sector;
Have experience working in operations and maintenance;
Are in possession of a good problem-solving approach;
Have a good command of the English language (both verbally and written). Dutch language skills are preferred however not required;
Are excellent communication and leadership skills;
Have a valid drivers licence;
Work in a rotation of 7 days on and 7 days off, which means you're at home every evening;
Are residential within a radius of 45 min. from IJmuiden.
Having experience with working in (offshore) wind farm projects in The Netherlands and high voltage experience is seen as advantageous, and in addition, knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics is desirable.
