As a Recruitment Manager/ Branch Office Manager you will:

• Lead and coordinate our recruitment team in Latvia, ensuring efficient and effective team performance.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with company goals optimizing the hiring process.
• Liaise with local and international authorities, maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Be fully responsible for sourcing and attracting candidates by advertising vacancies on national and international job boards, HR platforms, LinkedIn and the company’s website.
• Regularly collaborate with our teams in the Netherlands and identify current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct screening interviews, salary negotiations and coordinate job interviews.
• Manage the onboarding process for new employees.
• Compliance with international maritime legislation by managing crew documents.
• Facilitate visa applications, flight bookings, and other supporting documents for employees.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of recruitment strategies and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.

Functie-eisen

What we expect:

• Qualification as a ship Officer with at least 1 year of seagoing experience or 5 years of experience in recruitment and placement services.
• Knowledge of Latvian labor law.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good knowledge of English and Latvian (written and verbal).
• Experience and/or enthusiasm for social media.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Willingness to work at our location in the Netherlands from time to time.
