For a project in the USA, we're looking for mutiple Riggers who want to board a pipelaying vessel. A Rigger is also known as a Lifting Supervisor. You are responsible for safely guiding and moving all kinds of loads. You are responsible for setting up and maintaining hoisting activities on board, working closely with the Crane Operator and other ship's personnel.
If you'd like to get started, you must have a B1/OCS visa!
 
Responsibilities:

• Carrying out inspections of hoisting and lifting equipment to ensure that they comply with safety regulations and standards.
• Assembly and disassembly of lifting equipment and equipment in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and moving heavy loads using cranes, hoists, and other lifting systems.
• Ensure a safe workplace and the correct application of hoisting and safety regulations.
• Report any deviations, incidents, or damage to the manager.

Functie-eisen

We're expecting:

• Experience as a Rigger onboard, preferably on pipelaying vessels.
• Valid STCW documents.
• Valid B1/OCS visa is a must to get started!

Ons aanbod

• Your first trip will be for a period of 5 weeks. Thereafter, working in a  fixed rotation is possible.
• Position onboard a pipelaying vessel.
• Sailing area: Gulf of Mexico, USA waters, or under US regulation.
• A possibility to work for Oceanwide on projects in the future.
