For one of the largest renewable energy solutions provider in the World, we are looking for a blade repair technician.
This department is mainly responsible for repairing’s of Blades uptower and downtower on wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the Netherlands and Belgium. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to the success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.
You can be based anywhere in the Netherlands and/or Belgium for this role. 

Responsibilities: 

• Working at heights to perform rotor blades repairs.
• Usage of rope lift platforms, cherry picker and rope access technology.
• Developing a detailed knowledge of the wind turbines.
• Responsible for fiber glass, carbon fiber repairs and additionally electrical and mechanical operations.
• Creating follow up orders and inspection reports.
• You will also work with high voltage.
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met, you will be part of a team of Technicians working throughout the region.
• Other responsibilities will be to carry out periodic service inspections.

Functie-eisen

Qualifications:   

• Technical experience for a minimum of 2-3 years.
• Experience or degree within electricity or mechanics. You are also eager to develop your skills within these areas.
• Hydraulic experience is a big plus.
• Professional experience in this area.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Driver's license class B.
• 95% travelling will be required.
