Functieomschrijving

Our client is a Cyprus based international provider of electrical technical services for maritime systems. For their Rotterdam branch they require a Service Engineer with experience in installation and maintenance of systems such as Radar, Radio, Voice Data Recorders, Gyrocompass, Navigation etc. The Service Engineer will perform his maintenance and installation services in the port areas of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Antwerp.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Inspection, installation, service and maintenance of maritime equipment such as Voice Data Recorders, Radar systems, Gyrocompass, GPS Navigation etc.
  • Allocation, purchase and updating of tools, systems, cabling and other materials
  • Liaise with the corporate Customer Support team in Cyprus who provides the work orders
  • Complete work reports and timely submit to the CustomerSupport team in Cyprus
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the company processes by making suggestions or learning from customer complaints

Functie-eisen

  • Technical Education in Electrical and a completed GMDSS training - GOC (or Marcom) certificate
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of maritime systems
  • Preferably specific systems' course certificates
  • Flexible, no 9 to 5 mentality
