Job description
Oceanwide is looking for multiple 3rd Engineers for an Offshore construction vessel. Our client is one of the biggest Offshore companies out there and they are looking for you! The starting date is discussable and the trip will be for 5 weeks. If it suits from both sides this could change to a fixed rotation. The vessel is working in the Gulf of Mexico, therefore you will need a US B1/ OCS visa. We are looking for someone who has experience on Offshore vessels. (Pipelaying vessels preferred) Your daily responsibilities:
Generally responsible for the technical installations;
Develops, monitors and implements plans for the maintenance of technical installations and equipment throughout the ship;
Systematically keep all planned maintenance up-to-date and fully maintain all relevant documentation;
Ensures optimum efficiency in the use of fuel, lube oil, spare parts and orders;
Ensure proper completion of the engine room including the oil logbook and other administration and documentation;
Takes charge of an engine room while on watch;
Maintains and manages ISM/SMS, MARPOL, MLC and other legislation to ensure the vessel is in compliance ready for inspections at all times.

Job requirements
Experience on a Pipe laying vessel or other big construction vessels.
Valid STCW, BOSIET, HUET and CA-EBS certificates.
US B1/OCS visa.
