Oceanwide Expeditions is specialized in small scale expedition cruises to the otherworldly polar regions. With a fleet of ice-strengthened vessels we offer our passengers unique expeditions to the Antarctic and the Arctic. Oceanwide Marine Services is the ship operator of the Oceanwide Expeditions Group. As Assistant Hotel Manager, you manage daily restaurant and bar operations. You maintain sanitation standards and are personally involved in serving meals and beverages. You strive to continually improve guest satisfaction and maximize the performance in your areas of responsibility.

Our motor vessels are sailing with 108 to 172 passengers and 45 to 72 crew during our Antarctic season (November – March) and our Arctic season (May – September).

Job requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field and 2-3 years of work experience in Hospitality Management, along with shipboard experience on small (river) ships.
  • Hands-on approach to all operational aspects
  • Good knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Professional appearance
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment
  • Good command of both spoken and written English
