Due to the expansion of our fleet we are searching for Chief Engineers who aspire to a career in these special sailing areas.

As Chief Engineer, you are head of the engine department and have responsibility for all technical operations and equipment on board. Assisted by your subordinate officers, you make sure that systems and equipment are operating correctly and are maintained up to the company standards. You act as watch-keeping Engineer when required. 

Job requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Chief Engineer role, preferably on vessels with conventional engine types. Experience on passenger vessels is highly preferred.

• Certificate of Competence Chief Engineer Unlimited
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Experience with conventional engine types
• Supreme leadership and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Hands-on mentality
