Job description
With roots stretching back almost 150 years, our client is the only naval original equipment manufacturer in the Netherlands. Having delivered more than 400 vessels to customers all around the world, they are a trusted partner in the international marketplace, known for their role as a full-service provider, or integrator, throughout the lifecycle of their products.
The role As DOORS Software Engineer you will be part of the Requirements Management team, supporting projects according to Systems Engineering methods. You are responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining the requirements model in DOORS (the requirements management tool). In addition, you will be assisting colleagues in using DOORS, answering questions, providing training, and helping automate the work process. This includes creating queries, views, dashboards, and reports on the status of requirements in DOORS. The scripting is done in DXL (DOORS Extension Language), which has a C#/C++ like syntax.
Job requirements
Higher Vocational Education (HBO) work and thinking level preferably with a degree in Software Engineering or related discipline
Experience with requirements management processes and projects with a complex codebase is a plus
Familiarity with DXL and/or with C#/C++ like syntax and VBA is beneficial
Good strong command of the English language (verbally and in writing), ideally also Dutch
EU citizenship or EU work visa is required
A background check will be part of the selection procedure
Our offer
Salary: up to € 4000,- gross per month, depending on experience
Holiday hours: 216 hours per year
ADV hours: 104 hours per year with the option to sell these in exchange for maximum 5% more salary (0.383% per day)
Travel costs: € 10 per month for the first 10 km, then 0.19 cents per km. A T-tag is issued for employees who use the Westerscheldetunnel for commuting.
