Job description
Oceanwide is looking for multiple Engineers for the Offshore/Maritime industry. We are looking for someone who has experience on construction/ pipelay/ Offshore support or Diving Support vessels.
As a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Engineer you will be responsible for the technical installations onboard of the vessel. You will develop, monitor, and implement plans for the maintenance of technical installations and equipment throughout the ship. Also, you will systematically keep all planned maintenance up-to-date and fully maintain all relevant documentation.
You ensure optimum efficiency in the use of fuel, lube oil, spare parts and orders as well as, ensure proper completion of the engine room including the oil logbook and other administration and documentation together with the Chief Engineer.
At last, you will take charge of an engine room while on watch and maintains and manages ISM/SMS, MARPOL, MLC, and other legislation to ensure the vessel is in compliance ready for inspections at all times.
Job requirements
You have experience with:
Experience as a As a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Engineer on board of Offshore Construction/ Pipelay/ Offshore support or Diving Support vessels.
Valid STCW, BOSIET, HUET and CA-EBS certificates.
DP Unlimited is obliged.
Good command of the English language.
In possession of a B1/OCS visa is preferred.
