Job description

Oceanwide Expeditions is specialized in small scale expedition cruises to the otherworldly polar regions. With a fleet of ice-strengthened vessels we offer our passengers unique expeditions to the Antarctic and the Arctic.

As a Housekeeper you are responsible for the entire housekeeping operation on board, you manage all daily housekeeping operations. You will supervise the housekeeping and laundry team of 10 international Stewards. Next to your superior role you have a hands-on and guest-oriented approach to all operational aspects. You maintain a safe and hygienic work environment to ensure good quality at all times and you report to the Hotel Manager.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar rank along with supervisory experience
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Shipboard experience
  • Valid STCW certificates (or willing to obtain)
