Job description

Our client is a Dutch shipbuilder of navy vessels, with customers all over the world. For their office in Vlissingen, we are looking for an Integrated Project Planner. Given the military nature of clients and projects, permanent multi-year EU citizenship combined with a permanent EU work visa are all requirements of the recruitment process.
 
The role
As Integrated Project Planner you will be responsible for the timely planning of all project activities and creating progress reports for the project management team. This is evidently in line with the organization's integrated planning method. You are the linking pin between processes and will create a planning of all activities within engineering, procurement, manufacturing engineering, production, and commissioning of the project from contract to delivery.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Creating a baseline planning for all project activities based on the master planning and hour budget in association with project managers, team leaders and subcontractors
  • Maintaining and analysing the operational planning and identifying progress delays and bottlenecks
  • Providing progress status overviews and preparing hour forecast information
  • Preparing project information for multi-projects planning (portfolio).
  • Analyse and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
  • Initiate improvement processes on specific subjects.
  • Leading the logistic team to assure that project interests are met.
  • Discuss and negotiate in- and export requirements, incoterms, etc. with customs as required

Job requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of five years experience in planning (complex) technical projects
  • Experience with Primavera P6 or similar planning software
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management and knowledge of manufacturing-, industrial-, or supply chain processes is a plus
  • Strong understanding of all phases of project management, including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing
  • Good command of the Dutch & English language both written & verbal
  • Given the military nature of clients and projects, permanent multi-year EU citizenship combined with a permanent EU work visa are all requirements of the recruitment process
  • A background check will be part of the selection procedure

Our offer

  • Salary depending on experience
  • Annual leave: 27 days plus 13 days ADV
  • Travel costs: € 10 per month for the first 10 km, then € 0.19 per km
  • Pension benefit: employer 50% and employee 50%
