Offshore Wind Service Engineer

Job description

Your workday starts in IJmuiden The Netherlands between 6:00-7:00 AM. From there, you'll board a ship to travel to the wind farm. During your approximately 12-hour workday, you'll enjoy the best view imaginable. You will carry out the required tasks and stay overnight on the SOV (Service Offshore Vessel). You will work in a 2/2 rotation.

What You Will Do:

• Develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines.
• Perform daily maintenance and other field-related tasks.
• Carry out maintenance on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Prepare follow-up orders.
• Work with high voltage.
• Adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards and ensure that goals are met.
• Be part of a team of technicians working throughout the region.
• Other tasks include conducting periodic inspections according to specifications, replacing components (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic), and troubleshooting system issues.

What We Expect from You:

• Completed MBO education in electrical engineering or mechanics, with work experience.
• No fear of heights or seasickness.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Driver's license B.
• You are currently living in The Netherlands.
