Job description

Your Role:In this position, you will assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our company's QHSE management system. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment while upholding the highest standards of quality across all our operations, both onshore and offshore.

Your tasks will include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective QHSE management system in line with relevant industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Monitoring and enforcing safety regulations and standards, both internally and externally. Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Performing investigations into accidents, near-misses, and incidents, determining root causes and contributing factors. Implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Developing and delivering QHSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors in close cooperation with the HR department.
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports, highlighting areas of improvement and ongoing initiatives alongside statistical data.
  • Ensuring the company remains compliant with all applicable QHSE requirements.

 

Job requirements

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3 years) as a QHSE Engineer or in a similar role within a related industry.
  • Familiarity with risk assessments, (offshore) audits, and inspections.
  • Knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Certification and knowledge in relevant QHSE standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is preferred.
  • Experience in the Renewable, Offshore, or Maritime industry is considered a bonus.
