Job description
Our client, a renowned Dutch shipbuilder of navy vessels, with an established customer portfolio is currently seeking a Quality Control Officer, to be based in Vlissingen on a temporary assignment starting as soon as possible up until May 2023
Key accountabilities
Organizing inspections in accordance with the inspection plan and execution thereof
Performing independent analyses in relation to delivered quality and providing/distribution of reports
Usage of the application ‘In2CRM’ and give support to fellow users
Evaluate the quality of steel constructions, small ironwork, and construction fitting
Evaluate the quality of outfitting and different compartments during the final phase of shipbuilding
Recognizing the need when to facilitate a specialist from a certain discipline at inspections
Ensuring that all HSEQ policies and procedures are in place, understood, owned, maintained, and followed
Job requirements
Education in Mechanical Engineering and/or Shipbuilding
Experience of quality control in shipbuilding and/or steel production environment
VCA-VOL + hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or other specialized courses
Knowledge of HSEQ procedures/protocols
Dutch and English communication skills (verbal and written)
EU citizenship or EU work visa is required

Our offer
Salary depending on experience
Annual leave: 27 days plus 13 days ADV
Travel costs: € 10 per month for the first 10 km, then € 0.19 per km
Pension benefit: employer 50% and employee 50%
