Get started as an Senior Service Technician Offshore Wind - (f/m/d/)
Are you someone who doesn’t get intimidated by wind, water, and heights? As an experienced offshore technician (f/m/d), you ensure that the wind turbines at sea keep running and continue supplying sustainable energy to thousands of households. From our base in IJmuiden, you and your team travel to the offshore wind farm to carry out maintenance and resolve malfunctions on our modern turbines.
What will you be doing?
You work in a 14-day rotation schedule: two weeks offshore, followed by two weeks off.
Workdays last approximately 12 hours, including the daily two-hour boat trip to the wind farm.
You carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
You troubleshoot faults, fix defects, and ensure all work is accurately recorded.
Safety is always the number one priority, for yourself and your colleagues.
Job requirements
What do you bring?
A completed MBO level 3 or 4 technical education (electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering).
Experience with wind turbines (preferably offshore) and familiarity with Vestas or similar systems.
Certifications such as GWO Basic Safety, VCA-VOL, and NEN 3140/3840 (or willingness to obtain them).
Good command of English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
Driver’s license (B).
Willingness to stay near IJmuiden during work periods (accommodation provided for you).
