Job description

As a Shift Superintendent (SSI), you are responsible for running the shift onboard of the offshore installation vessel.

Specific operations you are responsible for:

  • Outfitting of vessel for the ops;
  • MSF Completions;
  • OSS Completions;
  • WTG SS Completions;
  • Leading operational the shift onboard on of the two heavylifting vessels during the execution.

As an SSI you report to the OCM onboard of the installation vessel. You make sure that operations on deck of the vessel occur efficient and in line with the high safety standards. As an SSI you have a proven track record with large heavy lift crane vessels! Furthermore, you lead the teams in the most efficient way with the highest regards for safety standards. Job requirements

We expect the following if you want to start as a SSI:

  • Preferably a bachelor degree or proven experience as a Superintendent in offshore operations;
  • Preferably Experience in offshore (wind) installation- and decommissioning projects
  • Experience and training for guiding crane operations;
  • Experience with work progress and safety;
  • Able to manage/ coach a project team including riggers, ROV operators and equipment technicians;
  • Eager to work offshore in longer rotations.
  • Good command of the English language;

  • Period: May-July 2023 (with a possible extension);
  • Rotation shift: 4 / 6 weeks – 7 to 12 hours offshore;
