Job description

We are urgently seeking a Single Engineer who is enthusiast to join our three-mast passenger schooner Rembrandt van Rijn on short notice. This small ship is well suited for expedition cruising in North-Norway, Svalbard and Greenland.

As Single Engineer you are independently responsible for the operation, maintenance and fault finding of technical installations and systems onboard. You will be joining a team of 10 experienced crewmembers from other departments who work closely together.

Job requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably on small vessels with conventional engine types.
• Certificate of Competency Rating Engineering Watch III/4 or higher
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Hands-on mentality
