We are looking for a Support Specialist who can support the technicians in the field with complex troubleshooting and fould finding. Both remotely and on location. You are the first point of contact for the technicians in the field. The support specialist will be based in Utrecht and have constant interaction with the technicians in the field. You will not only be hired due to your technical knowledge but also so because you are reliable and able to deliver good support to the technicians. You have good communication skills to explain technical topics.A working week looks like this, you work 3 days at home and 2 days a week you are on the road.
As a Technical Support Specialist, you are responsible for:
Remote and on location troubleshooting support in complex turbine failures
Develop and maintain Technical FAQ
Developing and updating documentation (working procedures) for Vestas and Enercon technology
Define spare parts and tool lists and recommendations
Engineering of upgrades and retrofits.
Technical support to field technicians and staff.
International support in cooperation with the technical department
Diagnosis and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical abnormalities at the wind turbines / wind farms
Occasional on request support of the project manager during complex technical issues in customer meetings
On call weekend duty on international level for remote support of the on-call duty teams
Support in the assessment of new windfarms in cooperation with the business development manager and operational manager
Job requirements
You have several years of experience in maintenance or troubleshooting in Vestas and or Enercon turbines, preferably Enercon turbines
Proven experience in troubleshooting and fault investigation skills
You have a good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing, German or French could be an advantage
Tutoring skills in teaching technical topics
High level of detail orientation is paramount
Teamwork, collaboration and drive to take on responsibility
A pragmatic approach to solve problems
Ability to deliver high quality work within timelines
High level of integrity and motivation
Familiar with Microsoft office. Experience and knowledge with the Microsoft office package
You can work well with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and other office software
Willingness to travel
