Job description
As a Field engineer, you are responsible for the onsite engineering on the offshore support vessels contributing to the project. In addition to that, you will be working for the support of the deck operations wherefore, you arrange the required (offshore) papers for any kind of work/maintenance on board.
Specific operations you are responsible for:
Outfitting of vessel for the ops;
MSF Completions;
OSS Completions;
WTG SS Completions;
Ensuring safe working, you are responsible for the Engineering and coordination tasks onboard.
As a Field Engineer, you report to and work close together with the OCM and the head office. Your daily duties as a Field Engineer consists of facilitating the deck operations with engineering and planning support. Furthermore, you are in a leading position for the offshore QA process and make preparations for change management.
Candidates must have US nationality or visa to work in the US.
Job requirements
We expect the following if you want to start as a Field Engineer:
Preferably a bachelor or master’s degree in engineering;
Proven experience in a field engineering role;
Focus on work progress and safety;
Eager to work offshore in longer rotations;
Good command of the English language
