Job description

Our client is a Dutch shipbuilder of navy vessels, with customers all over the world. For their office in Vlissingen we are looking for a Catia Structures / Cadmatic Hull 3D CAD application manager.

The role
You are the expert! Within the engineering department, you will be the one responsible for the functional application management of the Catia Structures / Cadmatic Hull 3D CAD system. This means that you will advise and assist multiple projects on the optimal use of the system. You are the first line of functional support in case of issues with the system and you are responsible for resolving these issues. You will also advise our management on continuous improvements which can be realized within the system.
 
Key accountabilities
As Catia Structures/Cadmatic Hull 3D Application Manager you will:
  • Advise projects on optimal use of the system within the existing functionalities
  • Configure the system for optimal use within the projects
  • Analyze issues within the system and work together with the IT department and external suppliers to resolve these issues
  • Pro-actively check performance indicators of the system to identify possible issues

Job requirements

  • Higher Vocational Education (HBO) work and thinking level, preferably in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of and working experience with the Catia system and/or the Cadmatic Hull system
  • Experience as Application Manager preferably with engineering software
  • Affinity with high-end Structural Engineering processes in shipbuilding, steel construction (engineering) or in other relevant fields
  • Good command of Dutch and English language written & verbal
  • EU citizenship or EU work visa is required
  • A background check will be part of the selection procedure

Our offer

  • Salary depending on experience
  • Annual leave: 27 days plus 13 days ADV
  • Travel costs: € 10 per month for the first 10 km, then € 0.19 per km
  • Pension benefit: employer 50% and employee 50%
