Job description
Our client, a renowned Dutch shipbuilder of navy vessels, with an established customer portfolio is currently seeking an IT Application Manager RUN to be based in Vlissingen on a project-based assignment. Given the military nature of clients and projects, permanent multi-year EU citizenship combined with a permanent EU work visa is strictly required.
The role You will ensure the operational continuity of the application landscape (applications, integrations, interfaces, and databases) by handling incidents and standard changes. You will also perform recurring activities like maintenance and monitoring tasks.
Responsibilities:
Perform user support for multiple applications and handle incidents and standard changes concerning the application (architecture)
Document Incident Analysis, create and maintain work-instructions and provide instructions and guidelines for knowledge base
Perform maintenance activities based on and maintain of an operational checklist
Identify (performance) issues and trends in operational systems
Provide recommendations for process and configuration improvements based on incidents occurred & customer input/feedback
Report service status, issues, and recommendations to the team lead and/or senior Application Specialist
Work as a strong team contributor and provide technical expertise, maintain contacts with IT staff, users, and suppliers
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or another relevant degree
Work experience and demonstrable affinity with ICT and business processes
Good command of the Dutch and English language both written & verbal
Given the military nature of clients and projects, permanent multi-year EU citizenship combined with an EU work visa is strictly required
A background check will form a part of the selection process

Salary dependent on experience
Annual leave: 25 days
Travel costs: € 0,19 per km
